UK: UK inflation remains at 4%

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has confirmed that inflation remained unchanged at 4% in January, down from 10.1% this time last year.

With the energy price cap set to be reduced in April, this should enable inflation to decline more substantially in the following months.
